SIA Boundless Inspiration originates from the idea to organise creative holidays for busy women and men who are looking for a relaxing holiday, where getting to know the local culture and crafts as well as meeting local people are more important than having seen every sight from the tourist guide book.
Boundless Inspiration was born in 2018 in the Netherlands, where I was seeking my moments of relaxation and happiness in creativity and traveling. Learning a new skill in textile crafts or paintings and drawing were always part of my travels, as well as meeting locals and exploring the way people live in other countries. That is when the idea of sharing these rich experiences emerged and I started dreaming of my own tour company.
After months of hard work in the evenings and on weekends, that dream came true resulting in a few tours to different countries in three continents. But it was not meant to last because the world had to deal with a pandemic. For me it was a period of slowing down after having worked too much for too long. It was a period of reflection on what to do next and actually working on the new plans. After having spent 20 years abroad, I settled down in my home country Latvia and became a teacher of English as Foreign Language, which I am enjoying more than I ever imagined. However, the explorer in me is getting eager to go places, meet new people and create new experiences and memories.
Since January 2023, SIA Boundless Inspiration has been registered in Latvia and I am inviting people from all over the world to take part in the activities and tours I organise to let them get to know the traditions, culture, and arts&crafts in Latvia.
